I threw punk up in the genres because that's what the band put under "genre" for this album, and I like to respect what the band thinks their music is like.  It certainly has a punk perspective to it; screamo always has been related in one way or another to a punk sentimentality.  But enough about that, if you picked up Ah, As If a month or two ago, you will find this album to be fairly different.  Ah, As If  was a compilation of older material and harder to find songs.  This album here is actual new tunes moving more in a direction that was like their last EP, and is done gritty, but still great sounding DIY recording.
